About

This server provides read-only iMessage access via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Your messages are never stored in the cloud - the server acts as a secure proxy to your Mac.

Setup

1. Install the macOS client app on your Mac

2. Ensure the client is running and connected (green status icon)

3. In Claude (web/desktop/mobile):

Click "Add MCP Server"
Enter URL: https://imessage.system3.tools
Approve the pairing notification on your Mac

Architecture

Transport: HTTPStreamable (MCP protocol)
Client Connection: SSE (auto-reconnecting)
Authentication: OAuth 2.0
Storage: Minimal (pairing tokens only)

Privacy

✅ Messages never stored on server
✅ Read-only database access
✅ TLS encryption for all communication
✅ Mac must be running for queries to work
